He married Gerberga of Saxony circa 935.⁽¹¹²³⁾ Gerberga was born circa 920. Gerberga⁽¹¹²⁴⁾ was the daughter of Henry I the Fowler King of Saxony & Emperor. Gerberga died 5 May 984 at 63 years of age.⁽¹¹²⁵⁾

Giselbert Duke of Lorraine and Gerberga of Saxony had the following child:
