156. ZADOCK⁵ MARSHALL (ELIZABETH⁴ PURNELL, JOHN³, THOMAS², THOMAS¹) birth date unknown. ZADOCK died after June 17, 1836 in Worcester Co., MD.

He married PEGGY COSTEN in Worcester Co., MD, November 25, 1796. (Robert Barnes, MD Marriages 1778-1800, Baltimore, MD, Genealogical Publishing Co., 1979) In the 1790 census of Worcester Co. MD, Zadock was a single man with 5 slaves. He lived two residences away from his brother, Isaac, and next door to his father. Zadock was in Sussex Co. DE in 1799 when his daughter, Mary was baptized. Zadock was back in Worcester for the 1810 census. Zadock's will dated June 17, 1836 names the following tracts: "Scanderson," "Tauton," and "Marshall's Industry" all in Worcester County. 350 iv. ZADOCK MARSHALL (Jr.) was born 1804. ZADOCK died 1870 at 66 years of age. He married twice. He married ZEPPORAH HARRISON in Worcester Co., MD, February 27, 1828. (Mary Beth & Vanessa Long, Worcester Co. Marriage Licenses 1795-1865, p. 67)

He married CORNELIA "CAROLINE" BOWEN in Worcester Co., MD, November 28, 1837. (Mary Beth & Vanessa Long, Worcester Co. Marriage Licenses 1795-1865, p. 13) CORNELIA was the daughter of MARY ANN (wife of ___ Bowen). Caroline was named in her mother's will dated November 18, 1848, Worcester Co. MD (Ruth Dryden, Book LPS, p. 48)

351 v. WILLIAM HENRY MARSHALL was born 1807. WILLIAM died before 1870.

+ 352 vi. ELIZABETH ANN P. MARSHALL was born about 1808.
