She married JEPTHA PURNELL. JEPTHA was the son of MATTHEW PURNELL and MARTHA MCCLEMMY. JEPTHA died 1768 in Worcester Co., MD. Jeptha left to his wife Mary "Purnel's Security" and land in Sinnepuxent. 210 i. MATTHEW⁵ PURNELL. MATTHEW died 1786 in Worcester Co., MD. He named his sisters Elizabeth and Alisha and nephew Lambert Ayres.

211 ii. LAMBERT PURNELL. He served as a Private, 3rd MD Independent Co., Worester Co., Capt. John Watkin's Co., enlisted May 7, 1776; muster roll dated August 20, 1776, sick at mother's. Took the Oath of Allegiance in Worcester Co. in 1778 in Quepomco Hundred before the Hon. Thomas Purnell. (Henry C. Peden, Jr., Revolutionary Patriots of Worcester & Somerset Cos. MD, Willow Bend, Westminster, MD, 1999, p. 238)

213 iv. ELIZABETH PURNELL. ELIZABETH died 1787 in Worcester Co., MD. (Vernon L. Skinner, Worcester Will Book JW13 f.139, p.14) She was named in her brother, Matthew's, 1786 will and called daughter of Jeptha in the will of her uncle Azariah Purnell in 1778. In her will, Elizabeth called the children of her sister, Letitia (Alisha), her brothers and sisters.
