JEPTHA died 1768 in Worcester Co., MD. Jeptha left to his wife Mary "Purnel's Security" and land in Sinnepuxent.

JW13 f.139, p.14) She was named in her brother, Matthew's, 1786 will and called daughter of Jeptha in the will of her uncle Azariah Purnell
in 1778. In her will, Elizabeth called the children of her sister, Letitia (Alisha), her brothers and sisters.
