181. ANN "NANCY"5 PURNELL (WILLIAM4, JOHN3, THOMAS2, THOMAS1) birth date unknown. She married REUBEN ANDERSON. A legislative act of February 9, 1796 signed at Dover, DE allowed Reuben Anderson to bring in slaves of Ann Purnell Anderson from Worcester County by his intermarriage to Ann Purnell. In 1800, John Purnell with wife Elizabeth Purnell of Sussex Co. DE and Reuben Anderson with wife Nancy Anderson of Kent Co. DE appoint brother and friend Thomas Purnell of Maryland to sell equity. Nancy Anderson later appears in Guilford Co., NC and the family connected by marriage to the Dyers family. The family groups moved to IN with a Purnell Chance.
