283. LOVEY⁵ OUTTEN (PURNELL⁴, SARAH³ PURNELL, JOHN², THOMAS¹) was born in Somerset Co., MD September 3, 1763. (Somerset Sampler, p. 201)

She married JESSE MADDOX LANKFORD. JESSE was born 1760. JESSE died 1815 at 55 years of age. (marriage & dates-Leslie Dryden Collection, Nabb Center) She was called Lankford in her father's will. Called Lova, she and her daughter were named in the will of her sister, Delitta. Her husband's name is not known, but a David Lankford witnessed her sister, Delitta's, will.

LOVEY OUTTEN and JESSE MADDOX LANKFORD had the following child:

524 i. LOVA⁶ LANKFORD (JR.). She married EDWARD KER HORSLEY. EDWARD was born in Somerset Co., MD 1794. EDWARD was the son of STEPHEN FASSITT HORSEY and ANDASIA IRONSHIRE. Named as brother by Revel in 1813. Named in the will of her aunt, Delitta, in 1816.
