84. OUTTEN5 STURGIS (THOMAS4, RICHARD3, JOHN2, JOHN1) birth date unknown. OUTTEN died after 1795.

He married MARY (wife of Outten Sturgis) befire 1787. He was known as Outten of Thomas. The 1783 Tax List shows him with tract "Shaftsbury," 1M, 3F. He served as a Private, Worcester Militia, Snow Hill Battaltion, Capt. Samuel Smyley's Compan, 1777; Private, Worcester Militia, Wicomico Battalion, Capt. Samuel Smuley's Company, 1st Class, July 15, 1780. He took the Oath of Allegiance in Worcester County in 1778 before the Honorable John Selby. (Henry C. OUTTEN STURGIS and MARY (wife of Outten Sturgis) had the following child:
