She married William BELL after 1737. Still in need of proof. Information from Vernon L. Skinner, Jr.
(William BELL is #698.) William was the son of Thomas BELL.
William died 1792 in Sussex Co. DE. Sarah is given no surname in her father's will of 1737 and probably was not married. She
is devised Negro Jack; the 1742 tax list shows her brother, Jonathan in possession of Jack. By 1743, Jonathan no longer has Jack. It is
probable that Sarah married in 1742-1743.
An LDS file shows Sarah married William Bell without evidence. The Negro Jack is
living at Thomas Bell's Quarter in 1743 and 1744; William Bell is the son of Thomas Bell. In 1750,William Bell witnessed the will of William
Smith (probably his brother-in-law). That William Bell named a son Tilney further supports his wife being Sarah Tilney.
William
Bell purchased land in Sussex Co., DE in 1753 and several months later, William Bell and wife, Sarah, of Sussex County, sold land in Accomac
County. (ref: Vernon Skinner, Northampton tax lists, Sussex Co. land records, Accomac land records, Whitelaw)
