144. Thomas⁶ Bayley (Edmund⁵, Edmund⁴, Hannah³ Scarburgh, Ursula² Whittington, William¹) was born in Accomack Co., VA about 1756. Thomas died 1781 in Accomack Co., VA, at 25 years of age.

He married Elizabeth (wife of Thomas Bayley). Americus Scarburgh was named guardian for "infant heir at law" of Edmund Bayly. Thomas left a will dated June 18, 1781, probated September 25, 1781 and named his children and half-brother, Henry Custis.

Thomas Bayley and Elizabeth(wife of Thomas Bayley) had the following children:

342 i. Thomas⁷ Bayley (Jr.) was born about 1775. Thomas died 1819 in Accomack Co., VA, at 44 years of age. He married Alice Scarburgh about 1799. Alice was born in Accomack Co., VA about 1774. Alice was the daughter of Edmund Scarburgh and Jean or Jane Kerr. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, p. 228-229) Will dated March 31, 1819, probated May 31, 1819.

343 ii. Priscilla Bayley was born about 1777. Priscilla died after 1781.
