25. THOMAS4 CUSTIS (TABITHA SCARBURGH3 WHITTINGTON, WILLIAM2, WILLIAM1) (#6311) was born in Deep Creek, Accomack Co. VA 1684. THOMAS died before April 4, 1721 in Accomack Co. VA, at approximately 36 years of age. (Nottingham, p. 67)
He married twice. He married ELIZABETH CUSTIS before December 3, 1708. (ELIZABETH CUSTIS is #6313.) ELIZABETH was born 1681. ELIZABETH was the daughter of JOHN CUSTIS (III)(Col.) and MARGARET MICHAEL. ELIZABETH died 1715 at 34 years of age. He married ANN KENDALL in Northampton Co VA, June, 1717. (ANN KENDALL is #6321.) ANN was the daughter of WILLIAM KENDALL (II)(Capt.) and ANN MASON. ANN died May 18, 1760. (Myers & Dorman, Purse & Person p.438) Thomas was the beneficiary of his great grandmother Madam Tabitha Hill (Scarburgh) of 700 acres near White Marsh. (Nottingham p.57; Bill Burton)
