127. ELIAS⁵ WHITE (WILLIAM⁴, ATALANTA³ WHITTINGTON, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#6397) birth date unknown.

He married SARAH. (SARAH is #6398.) In 1766, Elias mortgaged 44A to John Nairn of "Morris's Hope." His wife's name at that time was Sarah. (Ruth T. Dryden, Land Records of Somerset Co. MD, Family Line, Westminster MD, 1985, p.301)

The will of a John Williams dtd 1775, prob. 1788, names his wife as Esther and he names the children of Elias White. He names his wife's grandson, William White, son of Steven, and Stephen White, son of Elias. The relationship of Esther is still unclear, unless she was married to William White d. 1736 and mother of Stevens and Elias?

ELIAS WHITE and SARAH had the following child:

304 i. STEPHEN⁶ WHITE (#7071). John Williams, in his will dated 1775, names Stephen White, son of Elias. He also gives to the "children of Elias White" but does not name them. (Ruth T. Dryden, Somerset Wills)
