Seventh Generation222. LITTLETON7 STURGIS (LEVI6, RICHARD5, RICHARD4, RICHARD3, JOHN2, JOHN1) was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1797. LITTLETON died before May 10, 1865 in Somerset Co., MD. Administrators, Littleton H. Sturgis and James J. Moore filed account of his estate. (Som. Accts SCL9:179-Leslie Powell Dryden, Dryden Family and Descendants, Book I, 1992, p. 136) He married PRISCILLA DRYDEN in Somerset Co., MD, October 4, 1825. Littleton and his family appear in the Dublin District, Somerset Co., MD for the 1850 and 1860 census. (Leslie Powell Dryden, Dryden Family and Descendants, Book I, 1992) In 1850, Littleton, age 53, is a farmer with real estate valued at $4,000. Priscilla 46, Mary, 20, Priscilla Jr., 13, Littleton H., 11, Emma Grace is 9 and Handy 5. A John Webb, 22, farmer, is living in their household. Littleton, his wife, Miss Sarah Ann, Miss Elizabeth, Mary T., Priscilla, Isaac M. Emma T. and Littleton H. are shown as communicants at Dividing Creek Church as four adults and five children in Coventry Parish Records, Vol. II, (no date-about 1846, as Sarah and Elizabeth weren't married yet) LITTLETON STURGIS and PRISCILLA DRYDEN had the following children:
