170. STRINGER⁷ TILNEY (BETTY HARMANSON⁶ STRINGER, ELISHE⁵ HARMANSON, GRACE⁴ ANDREWS, WILLIAM³, WILLIAM², JOHN¹) (#919) was born before July 26, 1737. STRINGER died after March 30, 1785 in Sussex Co. DE, at approximately 47 years of age.

He married ELIZABETH. (ELIZABETH is #920.) Stringer names his children in his will of March 30, 1785. (Leon deValinger, Jr., Calendar of Sussex Co. DE Probate Records 1680-1800, copied by Dale Cantrell)

STRINGER TILNEY and ELIZABETH had the following children:

395 i. JACOB STRINGER⁸ TILNEY (#12040). JACOB died after March 20, 1794 in Sussex Co., DE. Jacob's will was dated March 20, 1794. 401 vii. ELIZABETH "BETTY" TILNEY (#12047). She married UNKNOWN MELSON. (UNKNOWN MELSON is #12048.)

402 viii. RACHEL ATKINSON TILNEY (#12049). She married NEHEMIAH DAVIS. (NEHEMIAH DAVIS is #12050.)
