She married twice. She married JOHN BURTON (Sr.) in Northampton Co., VA, about 1739. (JOHN BURTON (Sr.) is #13545.) JOHN was born about 1714. JOHN was the son of SAMUEL BURTON (Sr.) and PRICILLA EYRE. (Bill Burton, Bill Wilkins)

She married JOHN RESPESS (Mjr.) in Northampton Co., VA, December 16, 1746. (JOHN RESPESS (Mjr.) is #13413.) JOHN was born about 1715. JOHN was the son of HENRY RESPESS and DOROTHY. JOHN died 1791 in Northampton Co., VA, at 76 years of age.

ESTHER HARMANSON and JOHN RESPESS (Mjr.) had the following children:

159 i. ESTHER⁷ RESPESS (#13566). ESTHER died after October 25, 1781. She married SAMUEL ATCHISON in Northampton Co., VA, August 16, 1771. (SAMUEL ATCHISON is #14012.) He made a will in Northampton Co., VA, October 25, 1781. He was a partner in the business, Atchison, Hay & Company. (James Marshalls, Wills & Administrations of Northampton Co., p. 461)

160 ii. THOMAS RESPESS (#13565) was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1747. THOMAS died before April 8, 1799 at approximately 51 years of age.

ESTHER HARMANSON and JOHN BURTON (Sr.) had the following children:

162 iv. WILLIAM BURTON (#13546) was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1742. WILLIAM died before 1785.
