He married BRIDGET DALBY in Northampton Co., VA, January 21, 1772. (BRIDGET DALBY is #13561.) BRIDGET was the daughter of THOMAS DALBY.

He made a will in Northampton Co., VA, June 23, 1785.

JOHN BURTON (Jr.) and BRIDGET DALBY had the following children:

373 i. ESTHER⁸ BURTON (#14006) was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1773. ESTHER died before 1797 in Accomack Co., VA. She married THOMAS PARRAMORE in Northampton Co., VA, December 22, 1787. (THOMAS PARRAMORE is #862.) THOMAS was born in Accomack Co., VA February 24, 1761. THOMAS was the son of WILLIAM PARRAMORE and SARAH SEYMOUR. THOMAS died May 18, 1832 in Accomack Co., VA, at 71 years of age. Thomas married first Esther Burton. (ref: Whitelaw) She was under age in 1785.

374 ii. THOMAS BURTON (#14007) was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1775.
