He married CORA D. PARKES Accomack Co., VA, December 25, 1889. (CORA D. PARKES is #15313.) CORA was born about 1868. CORA was the daughter of CHARLES PARKES and MARGARET. CORA died 1944 at 76 years of age. Charley bought land at Bloxom from Cora's brother, George, in Pittsville in 1903, which was part of the William T. Byrd farm.
