25. Elizabeth C.³ Wessells (John⁴, John⁵ Vessels|Wessells)⁽¹⁴¹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1829.⁽¹⁴²⁾ Elizabeth is deceased.

She married George W. Bird. (See George W. Bird for the children resulting from this marriage.)

She was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴³⁾ Elizabeth applied for a marriage license to wed George W. Bird 29 Dec 1852 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴⁴⁾ An indenture was made 24 Oct 1859 between George W. Bird, Elijah B. Kelly and Elizabeth C. Bird formerly Elizabeth C. Wessells, the wife of the said George W. Bird. Children: Elizabeth Bird, John C. Wessells, Amanda Wessells, Ellen Wessells, Mary Wessells, and Jane Wessells (Acc Deeds No. 41, 1858-1860, p. 629). All these children except Elizabeth Bird, appear to be brothers and sisters of Elizabeth C. Wessells. This is based on all of them being listed in the 1850 household of John Wessells, age 65, believed to be the father of Elizabeth C. Wessells (Acc 1850 Census, p. 43, HH# 706).
