Margaret was born in Accomack Co., VA May 15, 1784. Margaret was the daughter of John Cropper(Gen.) and Margaret
Pettit. Margaret died December 3, 1824 in Accomack Co., VA, at 40 years of age. He married
Jane Oakley Coward in Accomack Co., VA, December 21, 1826. Jane was born about 1795. Jane was the daughter of
Samuel Coward and Margaret Scarburgh. Jane died 1888 in Richmond, VA, at 93 years of age. Of "Mount Custis."

Elizabeth Wharton Bayly was born in Accomack Co., VA December 6, 1815. Elizabeth died November 22, 1885 at

Co., VA April 11, 1811. James died August 4, 1878 at 67 years of age. James is buried at the Old Custis tract, Deep Creek,
