301. MARY D. 'POLLY'⁶ FISHER (FAIRFAX JOHN THROUGHGOOD⁵, THOMAS⁴, MADDOX³, MADDOX², PATIENCE¹ "V") (#5012) was born in Accomack Co. VA about 1800. MARY died August 14, 1840 at 40 years of age. Her body was interred in Accomack Co. VA, Byrd Plot, Cattail Cemetery. (ref: M. K. Miles - Ghote)

She married CUSTIS WALTER BYRD in Worcester Co. MD, April 18, 1825. (license date) (CUSTIS WALTER BYRD is #5013.)

CUSTIS was born in Muddy Creek, Accomack Co. VA August 3, 1794. CUSTIS was the son of SELBY BYRD and ESTHER 'HESSY' WESSELLS. CUSTIS died July 18, 1844 at 49 years of age. His body was interred in Accomack Co. VA, Byrd Plot, Cattail Cemetery. Mary and Custis Byrd had seven children. Continuation on this family can be found in the Fisher Family Journal.

497 vi. WILLIAM A. BYRD (#5021) was born 1834.

498 vii. SARAH CUSTIS STOAKLY 'SALLIE' BYRD (#5022) was born 1836.
