Purnell's will was probated in Somerset Co., MD, December 8, 1795. Purnell named his children and wife. Mary rejected administration and Jessee Lankford assummed duties.

(tombstone dates-Mihalyka & Wilson, Graven Stones, Heritage Books, Bowie, MD, 1992, p. 277) Tabitha died July 12, 1801 in Accomack Co., VA. Her body was interred in Accomack Co., VA, Twyford Graves. She married Robert Twiford in Accomack Co., VA, about 1763. Robert was the son of Daniel Twiford and Tamer(wife of Daniel Twiford). Distribution for the estate of Purnell Outten showed Robert Twiford in right of his wife. (Somerset Co., MD Accounts EB 24-225)

306 iv. Polly Outten was born in Somerset Co., MD November 10, 1753. She married Joseph Barret October 24, 1773. (dates-Somerset Sampler)

309 vii. Delitta Outten was born in Somerset Co., MD November 22, 1765. She married Jesse Taylor. Jesse died 1810. (Somerset Sampler, p. 201)

She made a will in Somerset Co., MD, February 15, 1816. Delitta's will was probated in Somerset Co., MD, March 7, 1817. She named her sister Lova Lankford and her daughter, Lova Lankford, Jr. She also named Polly Brittingham.

310 viii. Joseph Outten was born in Somerset Co., MD May 11, 1770.
