WILLIAM died January 16, 1891 in Rapides Parish, LA, at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Rapides Parish, LA, Robert Family Cemetery.

He married twice. He married ANN C. HOLT in Rapides Parish, LA, about 1838. ANN was the daughter of WILLIAM HOLT. He married SOPHRONIA EMILY ROBERT in Rapides Parish, LA, January 6, 1853. SOPHRONIA was the daughter of DANIEL ROBERT and SARAH GRIFFIN. (descendants researched by Dan Trimble)

806 iii. SALLIE GERTRUDE WHITTINGTON was born in Rapides Parish, LA 1843. SALLIE died March, 1910 in Rapides Parish, LA, at 66 years of age. She is buried at Rapides Cemetery, Pineville, LA. She married THOMAS SPENCE SMITH about 1860.

THOMAS was born in Worcester Co., MD 1842. THOMAS was the son of JOHN WALTER SMITH (Sr.) and CHARLOTTE CATHARINE WHITTINGTON. THOMAS died 1915 in Alexandria, LA, at 73 years of age. (Dan Trimble; Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage)
