12. WALTON3 PURNELL (THOMAS2, THOMAS1) was born about 1705. WALTON died 1787 in Worcester Co., MD, at 82 years of age.
He married CATHARINE MURRAY. CATHARINE died 1811 in Worcester Co., MD. Catharine was named
in the will of her husband's step-mother. (Surname provided in notes of Suzanne B. Hurley, Ocean City Lifesaving Museum). She named her sons
Stephen and Lemuel and daughters Nelly Fassitt and Polly Mitchell. She also named a grandchildren: Serena Catharine Purnell, Erexene Henry,
Margaret C. Henry and John F. J. Henry. He was named son-in-law by his step-mother, Catherine, in 1753. That will also named his wife. He
received "Adams Full Quality" and "Rochester" from his father and otained land at "Rumney Marsh" and "Holly Grove." Walton named his
wife Katharine and children in his will.

PRIDEAUX (Mrs. Isaac Marshall). Stephen named a John S. Purnell and his three sons: John, Jenkins and James; he named niece Adeline Purnell
(daughter of his brother Isaac) and a Lovey Tindle and Levenia Pendelton, daughter of Edward B. Pendelton (this would be the daughter of
Stephen's niece Levenia, daughter of Isaac Purnell).

LEMUEL PURNELL (Judge) was born in Worcester Co., MD. LEMUEL died after 1835 in Queen Ann Co., MD.
He married CHARLOTTE WRIGHT PLATT. Lemuel was living in 1835, when he was named by his sister, Nancy and
brother, Stephen. Stephen left him "Chance," "Hog Quarter," "Grays Endeavor," "Grays Lott Enlarged," "Purnells Lott, "Purnells
Neglect," "Oak Hill," "Grays Lot," "Rochester," and "Purnells Outlet." Lemuel went to Queen Ann Co., MD. (Suzanne B. Hurley, Ocean
City Lifesaving Museum)
