41. Richard⁴ Sturgis (II) (Richard³, John², John¹) was born after 1724. Richard died before 1773.

Mother, Elinor, deeded him 50 acres of "Widow's Lott." He patented "Sturgis' Choice" for 34 acres in 1760. The debt book for 1774 shows 34 acres of "Sturgis's Choice," and Richard was probably dead by this time.

Richard Sturgis(II) had the following child:

+ 88 i. Richard⁵ Sturgis (III) was born before 1755.
