He married Hariett Elizabeth Scarborough in Worcester Co., MD, January 4, 1843. Hariett was born before November 1, 1828. Hariett was the daughter of Richard Scarborough and Harriett or Elizabeth C. White.

Littleton James Richardson and Hariett Elizabeth Scarborough had the following children:

251 ii. Matilda Richardson. She married Zadock Duffy June 27, 1865.

+ 252 iii. Harriett Ellen "Hattie" Richardson.

253 iv. Asher Richardson. He died in Asher, TX.
