He married Barbara Drummond after 1733. Barbara was born 1703. Barbara was the daughter of Hill Drummond and Sabra(wife of Hill Drummond). Barbara died September 25, 1756 at 53 years of age. Buried at Corbin Hall, Accomack Co., VA (Bill Wilkins) (Ralph T. Whitelaw, Virginia's Eastern Shore, p. 1363)
