She married Cornelius Calvert 1749. Cornelius was born in Norfolk Co., VA 1725. Cornelius died 1804 in Norfolk, VA, at 79 years of age. According to DAR information, he was a member of the Sons of Liberty in Norfolk, when it formed in 1776. All dates (birth, death, marriage) given in DAR papers of Elizabeth Fleming Morden.

Elizabeth Thorowgood and Cornelius Calvert had the following child:

547 i. Mary⁷ Calvert. According to DAR papers, Mary married William Walke, son of Anthony Walke (1726-1779) and his 2nd wife, Mary Mosely.
