She married Samuel Edmund Downing Kellam in Northampton Co., VA, September 11, 1848. Samuel was born 1824. Samuel was the son of Samuel Edward Kellam and Elizabeth Betsy Downing. Samuel died 1878 at 54 years of age. Buried at Franktown, Northampton Co., VA. Buried at Franktown, Northampton Co., VA.

Louisa Catherine Kendall and Samuel Edmund Downing Kellam had the following children:

1457 iii. John Kellam was born January, 1855.

1458 iv. James Custis Kellam was born 1857. James died 1903 at 46 years of age. He married Virginia Catherine Sturgis. Virginia was born 1862. Virginia died 1928 at 66 years of age.

1459 v. Clara Harmanson Kellam was born 1860. Clara died 1911 at 51 years of age. She married William Gilmore Hurtt December 17, 1885. William was born 1855. William died 1942 at 87 years of age.

1460 vi. Samuel Edmund Downing Kellam(Jr.) was born August 10, 1863. Samuel died October 29, 1927 at 64 years of age. He married Margaret Ann Sturgis. Margaret was born November 3, 1866. Margaret died November 22, 1965 at 99 years of age.
