38. Jonathan⁴ TILNEY (John³, John², John¹) (#216) birth date unknown. Jonathan is between 12 and 16 on the 1728 Tithables and a minor in 1729. (Vernon L. Skinner, Jr.) Jonathan died 1750 in Northampton Co. VA.

He married Sarah MARSHALL in Northampton Co. VA, 1742. (Sarah MARSHALL is #143.) Sarah was the daughter of Thomas MARSHALL and Patience "V". Sarah died before 1760. See Descendants of Thomas Marshall, Ghote site, by Judy Marshall Stell. Jonathan Tilney died intestate and the administration given to Sarah Tilney. (ref: Marshall)

93 i. Hezekiah⁵ TILNEY (#146). Hezekiah was under 18 in 1760 and called "dear little grandson" in his grandfather Marshall's will. (ref: Marshall) Hezekiah died 1776 in Somerset Co., Maryland. He married Elizabeth ATKINSON. (Elizabeth ATKINSON is #147.) Elizabeth was the daughter of Angelo ATKINSON and Rachel DENNIS.
