12. William³ Whittington (William², William¹) was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1683. William died before March 25 1740 in Accomack Co., VA, at approximately 56 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Taylor about 1714. Elizabeth was born about 1695. Elizabeth was the daughter of Elias Taylor and Comfort Anderson. Elizabeth died 1762 in Accomack Co., VA, at 67 years of age. (ref: Bill Wilkins, Dan Trimble)
