98. John Nairn⁵ Whittington (Southy⁴, Southy³, William², William¹) was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1755. John died before April 3, 1826 in Worcester Co., MD, at approximately 70 years of age.

He married twice. He married Elizabeth Drummond in Accomack Co., VA, September 12, 1799. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage)

He married Sarah Polk in Somerset Co., MD, June 14, 1814. (Ruth T. Dryden, Worcester Wills)

John Nairn Whittington and Elizabeth Drummond had the following children:

210 i. John Nairn⁶ Whittington was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1800. John died before 1870 in Somerset Co., MD. He married Sally Milbourn in Somerset Co., MD, March 10, 1825. 211 ii. Sarah "Sally" Drummond Whittington was born about 1801. She married twice. She married John Milbourne. She married Unknown Williams. See "The Littleton Heritage" for her descendants.

212 iii. Elizabeth Whittington was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1804. She married Joshua W. Hitch March 30, 1825. See "The Littleton Heritage" for her descendants.

213 iv. Southy Whittington was born in Worcester Co., MD after 1806.

214 v. Charles Whittington was born in Worcester Co., MD after 1806.
