69. Edmund⁵ Custis (II) (Thomas⁴, Tabitha Scarburgh³ Whittington, William², William¹) was born about 1706. Edmund died before July 12, 1748 in Northampton Co., VA, at approximately 42 years of age.

He married Katherine Sparrow in Northampton Co., VA, about 1726. Katherine was born in Ann Arundel Co., MD February 4, 1713. Katherine was the daughter of Thomas Sparrow and Anne West. Edmund Custis(II) and Katherine Sparrow had the following children:

167 i. Ann⁶ Custis. Ann died after 1761. She married twice. She married George Holt in Northampton Co., VA, December 31, 1757. George died before March 14, 1758 in Northampton Co., VA. His occupation was seaman.
