84. WILLIAM⁵ WHITTINGTON (WILLIAM⁴, WILLIAM³, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#6297) was born about 1743. WILLIAM died 1769 in Worcester Co. VA, at 26 years of age.

He married MARY KING HENRY. (MARY KING HENRY is #6388.) MARY was the daughter of ROBERT JENKINS HENRY (Col.) and GERTRUDE ROUSBY. Mary married second Cpt. William Handy d. 1790 (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage) Named by his grandmother in her will of 1756, Accomack Co. VA (Stratton Nottingham, Wills & Adm. Acc. Co.; Dan Trimble).

WILLIAM WHITTINGTON and MARY KING HENRY had the following children:

183 i. JOHN ROUSBY⁶ WHITTINGTON (#6389) was born about 1767. JOHN died 1788-89 at 21 years of age.
