69. Benjamin⁴ Bishop (William³, Mary² Bowen, William¹) was born about 1733. Benjamin died 1767 at 34 years of age.

He married Ann Richardson. Ann was the daughter of Robert Richardson. Ann died 1787. She married second Levi Merrill and third John Tull. His father left him "Simpleton" in 1756. (Ruth T. Dryden, Worcester Co. MD Land Records, p. 566) Name of first wife is not known.

Benjamin Bishop and Ann Richardson had the following children:

+ 131 i. John⁵ Bishop (Capt.) was born 1754.

+ 132 ii. Zipporah Bishop was born before 1755.

133 iii. Benjamin Bishop(Jr.) was born about 1765. His grandfather, Robert Richardson, left him 10 acres of Mt. Ephraim in 1780.

134 iv. William Bishop was born about 1767. Tract "Londonderry."

Benjamin Bishop had the following children:

135 v. John Bishop was born about 1756. John is shown in suits against Ann Richardson and her 2nd husband, Levi Merrill over the estate of Benjamin Bishop.

136 vi. Molley Bishop was born about 1758.

+ 137 vii. Sabora Bishop was born about 1760.

138 viii. Nancy Bishop was born about 1763.
