302. Richard Johnson⁷ Ayres (Kasiah "Cessy"⁶ Johnson, Rachel⁵ Bunting, Tamar⁴ Marshall, George³, Thomas², John¹) was born February, 1801. Richard died March, 1872 in Accomack Co., VA, at 71 years of age. Buried at St. Georges Cemetery.

He married Leah Wainhouse Johnson in Accomack Co., VA, 1827. Leah was born May 1, 1799. Leah was the daughter of John Johnson. Leah died February, 1882 in Accomack Co., VA, at 82 years of age. (Mihalyka & Wilson, Graven Stones, Heritage Books, Bowie, MD, 1986, p. 9)
