237. Esme Marshall⁷ Waller (Col.) (Patience⁶ Marshall, Esme⁵, Thomas⁴, John³, Thomas², John¹) was born about 1765. Esme died before February 17, 1818 in Somerset Co., MD, at approximately 52 years of age.

He married twice. He married 1st wife (wife of Esme Waller). He married Sally Elzey in Somerset Co., MD, December 18, 1797. (Somerset Parish records, F. Marriage Licenses 1795-1865, Family Line, Westminster, MD, 1990)

Sally died before 1797. Esme was under age 14 in 1784 and Jonathan Waller, his uncle, was appointed his guardian. (Somerset Orphans Court records). Esme was over age 14 in 1791. He purchased land with some of his cousins in 1785 and was probably age 15.

The "Republican Star" of February 17, 1818 reads: Died instantly Col. Esme M. Waller of Somerset County, buried Sunday by members of Salisbury Lodge of Masons of which he was a member. (F. Edward Wright, Maryland Eastern Shore Newspaper Abstracts)

Esme Marshall Waller(Col.) had the following child:
