She married Samuel G. Carpenter in Northampton Co., VA, January 9, 1826. Samuel was the son of John Carpenter and Lucy Gault. Samuel died before 1850. (Will Brown, Bill Wilkins)

1544 i. Lucy Ann S.¹⁰ Carpenter was born March 7, 1828. Lucy died after 1855. She married William Thomas Nottingham in Northampton Co., VA, August 31, 1852. William was born in Northampton Co., VA June 23, 1820. William was the son of Jacob Nottingham and Sarah "Sally" Jarvis Bell. William died February 22, 1859 at 38 years of age. Known as "Bill T." he was a farmer and Deputy Sheriff. 1850 census. (Jean Mihalyka, Sally C. Lee, Bill Driscoll) Lucy was buried at Press Farm, Northampton Co., VA.

1545 ii. Laruetta V. Carpenter was born January 21, 1830. Laruetta died July 7, 1881 at 51 years of age. She married William Thomas Nottingham in Northampton Co., VA, January 25, 1859. William was born in Northampton Co., VA June 23, 1820. William was the son of Jacob Nottingham and Sarah "Sally" Jarvis Bell. William died February 22, 1859 at 38 years of age. Known as "Bill T." he was a farmer and Deputy Sheriff. 1850 census. (Jean Mihalyka, Sally C. Lee, Bill Driscoll) She is buried at Wlnut Grove, Northampton Co., VA.

1546 iii. John Azel Carpenter was born 1832.

1547 iv. George S. Carpenter was born 1838.
