He married twice. He married Sallie Ann Mapp in Northampton Co., VA, June 20, 1861. Sallie was born in Northampton Co., VA August 9, 1844. Sallie was the daughter of John Robins Mapp and Margaret Custis Leatherbury. Sallie died April 12, 1877 at 32 years of age. Buried at Jacobus, Northampton Co., VA.

He married Sally Goodwin. Sally was born 1854. Sally died 1911 at 57 years of age. Buried at Jacobus, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Wilkins)

1322 i. George Robert¹⁰ Jacob was born October 6, 1862. George died April 12, 1920 at 57 years of age. He married Sarah Wilkins Dolby-Dalby. Sarah was born March 21, 1863. Sarah was the daughter of John Calvin Dolby-Dalby and Mary Ann Saunders. Sarah died January 27, 1912 at 48 years of age. Buried at Johnson Church, Northampton Co., VA. 1323 ii. Sallie M. Jacob was born October 6, 1862. Sallie died 1921 at 58 years of age. She married Arthur Emerson Dennis. Arthur was born May 11, 1864. Arthur was the son of Henry Emerson Dennis and Catherine Sarah Roberts. Arthur died February 23, 1908 at 43 years of age. Arthur's mother may have been Alexina. 1324 iii. Richard Henry Jacob was born in Northampton Co., VA May 2, 1868. Richard died November 8, 1942 at 74 years of age. He married Elizabeth Ellen Van Ness in Northampton Co., VA, December 6, 1905. Elizabeth was born in Northampton Co., VA October 25, 1873. Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles Albert Van Ness and Elizabeth "Bettie" A. Ellen Mapp. Elizabeth died April, 1954 at 80 years of age. Buried at Hungers Church, Northampton Co., VA. 1870 census. 1325 iv. Hancock Jacob was born 1870.

1326 v. Anne "Annie" Bett Jacob was born July 31, 1874. Anne died November 18, 1945 at 71 years of age. She married Edmond A. Underhill about 1893. Edmond was born 1871. Edmond was the son of Michael E. Underhill and Margaret "Maggie" A.S.(wife of Michael Underhill). Edmond died 1936 at 65 years of age. Anne and Edmond are buried at Johnson Church, Northampton Co., VA.
