1644 i. Elijah "Eli"¹⁰ Dowty-Doughty was born October 7, 1846. Elijah died July 11, 1926 at 79 years of age. He married Margaret Elizabeth Dowty-Doughty in Northampton Co., VA, July 8, 1866. 1645 ii. Lettie A. Dowty-Doughty was born about 1849. She married three times. She married John W. Bowden May, 1872. John was born in Atlantic Co., NJ 1844. John was the son of Daniel Bowen and Mary C.(wife of Daniel Bowen). She married John C. Higbee in Northampton Co., VA, April 5, 1892. John was born 1854. John was the son of John Higbee. She married Othner Johnson in Northampton Co., VA, March 24, 1897. Othner was born 1857. Othner was the son of Elisha Johnson and Christine(wife of Elisha Johnson). (Grady Brickhouse; Bill Wilkins)
