11. Patience³ Marshall (Esme², Patience¹ "V") birth date unknown. Patience died before 1784.

She married William Cottman Waller about 1764. William was born October 14, 1743. William was the son of Richard Waller and Ann Cottman. William died 1774 at 30 years of age. There is no definitive proof that William Cottman Waller's wife was the daughter of Esme Marshall. Esme Marshall died intestate and his children thus far identified have been through wills or documents of other family members, such as Mary Nairn's brother, John. John Nairn died in 1771 and named his sister's children. He did not, however, name Patience. After basing a relationship from Esme Marshall to Esme Marshall Waller purley on the given names and dates and assuming Esme Waller's mother was a daughter of Esme Marshall, Vern Skinner found a notation in Charles S. Waller's "The Chesapeakers" that William Cottman Waller married a Patience Marshall. The theory still holds and is now even more enhanced that this daughter was named after Esme's mother.

Patience Marshall and William Cottman Waller had the following child:
