He married Mollie Howard. Mollie was the daughter of James Howard and Margaret Wilison. A Maddox Fisher was named as a descendant of Susannah Dolby in a quit claim suit in Northampton County. Maddox lived in Lexington, KY and was in the business of processing hemp. He seemed to be a very enterprising man. He also had a cotton factory.

Kentucky Gazette - February 14, 1814. "Maddox Fisher & Company want to hire mechanics to work in their cotton factory in Springfield, Ohio. Apply to John Fisher in Lexington."

Maddox Fisher and Mollie Howard had the following child:
