He married Elizabeth Purnell. Elizabeth was the daughter of Elisha Purnell and Mary Ayres. (marriage & son-Melanie Ayres Merryweather, Genealogy of the Purnell Family) April Court 1807 Worcester Co., MD Elisha received from his mother, Sarah Bennett, his part of his father's estate.
