She married Durant H. Davis in Greene Co., AL, November 23, 1840. Durant was born in NC about 1817. In 1860, he was living in Lowndes Co., MS with a different wife.

Julia Anna Frances Purnell and Durant H. Davis had the following child:

612 i. Julia P.⁶ Davis was born in Greene Co., AL 1844. Julia is living with her grandmother in the 1850 census of Greene County.
