275. Isaac⁵ Mitchell (Mary "Polly"⁴ Purnell, Walton³, Thomas², Thomas¹) birth date unknown. Isaac died 1829.

He married Sally Henry 1823. (Melanie Ayres Merryweather, Genealogy of the Henry Family)

Sally was born in Worcester Co., MD August 9, 1801. Sally was the daughter of Edward Henry(Mjr.) and Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Marshall. Sally died 1859. (research of Vernon L. Skinner; Melanie Ayres Merryweather, Genealogy of the Henry Family, p. 11) In 1835, Stephen Purnell named John Mitchell as trustee to Isaac's three sons. Isaac was not named in his father's will but was called son and named executor in his mother's will.

Isaac Mitchell and Sally Henry had the following children:

594 i. Lemuel⁶ Mitchell. In 1826, Polly Mitchell called him her grandson, son of Isaac. In 1834, Nancy Purnell named Lemuel as son of her nephew Isaac.

595 ii. Edward Purnell Mitchell.
