995. John William⁸ Taylor (James Samuel⁷, Sarah "Sally"⁶ Marshall, William Purnell⁵, Elizabeth⁴ Purnell, John³, Thomas², Thomas¹) was born March, 1861. John died 1926 in Cambridge, MD.

He married Mary Esther Boston May 8, 1900. Mary was born September 11, 1874. Mary was the daughter of John Henry Boston and Nancy Wooten. Mary died November 20, 1941 in Worcester Co., MD. 1216 i. May Elizabeth⁹ Taylor was born November 6, 1900. May died May 16, 1941.

1217 ii. Sarah Martha Taylor was born October 8, 1902. She married twice. She married William Shockley. She married Ralph Purnell Leatherbury.

1218 iii. Cyrus William Taylor was born June 30, 1904. He married Louella Mildred Bowden.

1219 iv. Lewis James "Jock" Taylor was born December 4, 1906. Lewis died October 19, 1972.

1220 v. Devan Taylor was born January 23, 1910. Devan died April 18, 1943 in Snow Hill, Worcester Co., MD. He was a farmer.

1221 vi. Elfred Revelle Taylor was born March 14, 1912.

1222 vii. Etta Ladkin Taylor was born July 1, 1915. Etta died December 19, 1939.

1223 viii. Clinton Boston Taylor was born December 18, 1919. He married Mary Jane Massey.
