He married twice. He married UNKNOWN MULLEN (wife of John Purnell). (marriage - Melanie Ayres Merryweather, "The Purnell Family")

He married SARAH (wife of John Purnell). His father left him "Purnell's Security," and "Addition to Sherborn." By his will, he left his wife, Sarah, "Purnells Security" and "Sherburn" and several other tracts to his daughter, Martha.
