He married EMILY (wife of Cheseed Purnell). Cheseed received "Simple" as grandson of William Selby. He witnessed the will of his brother, George, and in probate it was noted that Cheseed had been dead since 1772 and his wife, Mary, is noted as "now gone to New Virginia." (Tennessee) (Ruth T.
