1103. Mary Anne Randolph⁹ Custis (George Washington Parke⁸, John Parke⁷, Daniel Parke⁶, John⁵, Margaret⁴ Michael, Elizabeth³ Thorowgood, Adam², William¹) was born August 1, 1807. Mary died November 5, 1873 at 66 years of age.

She married Robert Edward Lee (Gen.) June 30, 1831. Robert was born in Stratford, VA January 19, 1807. Robert was the son of Henry Lee. Robert died 1869 at 62 years of age. He graduated from West Point in 1829 and served as a field engineer in the Mexican War 1846-1848. He was superintendent of West Point 1852-1855 and in 1859 arrested John Brown at Harpers Ferry. Lincoln offered him command of the Union armies in 1861, but he declined due to his loyalty to his native Virginia. He accepted command of the Confederate armies. Mary Anne Randolph Custis and Robert Edward Lee(Gen.) had the following children:

1468 i. George Washington Custis¹⁰ Lee was born September 15, 1832. George died 1913 at 80 years of age.

1469 ii. Mary Custis Lee was born July 12, 1835. Mary died 1918 at 82 years of age.

1470 iii. William Henry Fitzhugh Lee was born May 31, 1837. William died October 15, 1891 at 54 years of age. He married twice. He married Charlotte Wickham 1859. Charlotte died December 26, 1863. He married Mary Tabb Bolling November 28, 1867.

1471 iv. Anne Carter Lee was born June 18, 1839. Anne died October 20, 1862 at 23 years of age.

1472 v. Eleanor Agnes Lee was born February 27, 1841. Eleanor died October 15, 1873 at 32 years of age.

1473 vi. Robert Edward Lee(Jr.) was born October 27, 1843. Robert died 1914 at 70 years of age. He married Charlotte Taylor Haxall November 16, 1871. Charlotte was born October 23, 1848. Charlotte died September 22, 1872 at 23 years of age.

1474 vii. Mildred Childe Lee was born 1846. Mildred died March 28, 1905 at 58 years of age.
