881. William S.⁹ Williams (John⁸, Sarah⁷ Haggoman, Sarah⁶ Powell, Sarah⁵ Yeardley, Sarah⁴ Michael, Elizabeth³ Thorowgood, Adam², William¹) was born August 24, 1782. William died March 9, 1829 at 46 years of age.

He married Ann "Nancy" Jacob Dunton in Northampton Co., VA, December 16, 1806. Ann was born November 29, 1788. Ann was the daughter of Benjamin Dunton and Ann "Nancy" Jacob. Ann died September 7, 1867 at 78 years of age.

William S. Williams and Ann "Nancy" Jacob Dunton had the following children:

1239 i. William Nottingham¹⁰ Williams was born March 4, 1815. William died November 25, 1912 at 97 years of age. He married twice. He married Rosina Burton Dunton in Northampton Co., VA, August 1, 1842. Rosina was born April 29, 1823. Rosina was the daughter of Benjamin Dunton and Ann "Nancy" S. Topping. Rosina died about 1844. He married Virginia Upshur Fitchett in Northampton Co., VA, September 9, 1851. Virginia was born June 25, 1833. Virginia was the daughter of Daniel Fitchett and Ann Widgeon. Virginia died March 4, 1914 at 80 years of age. 1850 census. William and wife, Virginia, are buried at Cape Charles, Northampton Co., VA.

1240 ii. Elizabeth Ann Williams was born February 21, 1820. Elizabeth died March 25, 1902 at 82 years of age. She married twice. She married William Polk C. Fitchett in Northampton Co., VA, 1838. William was born December 29, 1817. William was the son of Joshua T. Fitchett and Martha "Patsy" Polk. William died October 17, 1839 at 21 years of age. Buried at Jones Farm, Northampton Co., VA.

She married Edward Powell Roberts in Northampton Co., VA, 1843. Edward was born August 31, 1816. Edward was the son of Edmund Powell Roberts and Sarah "Sally" Mapp. Edward died February 16, 1872 at 55 years of age. 1850 census. Edward and Elizabeth are buried at Grapeland, Northampton Co., VA. 1850 census.

1241 iii. Margaret Sarah Williams was born February 24, 1825. Margaret died September 11, 1850 at 25 years of age. She married William Thomas Nottingham in Northampton Co., VA, November 19, 1844. William was born in Northampton Co., VA June 23, 1820. William was the son of Jacob Nottingham and Sarah "Sally" Jarvis Bell. William died February 22, 1859 at 38 years of age. Known as "Bill T." he was a farmer and Deputy Sheriff. 1850 census. (Jean Mihalyka, Sally C. Lee, Bill Driscoll)

1242 iv. George W. Williams was born in Northampton Co., VA 1828. George died after 1855. He married Hannah E. Fitchett in Northampton Co., VA, December 13, 1855. Hannah was born 1835. Hannah was the daughter of George Powell Fitchett and Mary S. Williams. Hannah died after 1855.
