She married twice. She married Thomas Nottingham (Jr.) in Northampton Co., VA, November 8, 1776. Thomas was the son of Thomas Nottingham(Sr.) and Scarburgh Godwin. Thomas died February 12, 1788 in Northampton Co., VA. She married George Lewis 1789.

Margaret "Peggy" Johnson and Thomas Nottingham(Jr.) had the following children:

897 ii. Sally Nottingham. Sally died 1822.
