He married Tabitha Beavans before 1784. Tabitha died 1811 in Accomack Co., VA. Will dated March 18, 1811, probate October 28, 1811, Accomack Parish. (Miles & Miles, Wills & Administrations of Accomack Co. 1800-1860, p.348)
