He married twice. He married Sarah 'Sallie' T. Selby in Accomack Co., VA, January 13, 1823. Sarah was born January 16, 1806. Sarah died April 22, 1824 at 18 years of age. He married Harriet Fleming Selby after 1824. Harriet died after 1824.
